BRIEF: Enhance the existing logo of Initiatives of Change to remove its shortcomings while retaining its basic characteristics. NOTES: - The shortcomings are described in the attached PDF. - You are not required to create a new logo. - There is no assurance that your proposal will be accepted. Yet, this is not a speculative project; you will be paid for your effort at the pre-decided rate. - Should your proposal be selected, you may be contacted for developing logo usage guidelines and other related work. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: - The design proposal(s) should be focussed on removing the shortcomings. - The positioning of the curve and initiatives of Change can be altered. - It is not necessary to retain the stroke (horizontal line). - A shorter version where the name is abbreviated to “IofC” (note the capitalisation) would be added advantage. - The official slogan of IofC is "Building Trust Across the World’s Divides”. Your proposal should be compatible with the placement of this slogan beside the logo. - Sometimes a programme name is written beside the logo, or as part of the logo. Your proposal should be compatible with the placement of programme names. As examples, two programme names are: "Caux Initiatives of Business" and “Initiatives for Land Lives and Peace". - The preferred font family is Gill Sans. - The colour code for the green is C70 M0 Y100 K0 - The colour green should be retained although you may suggest minor changes to its shade if that makes it significantly better. - The grey(s) are optional. - You may redraw the curve to make it more aesthetic but not change its original form. OUTPUT: - Please submit one or more options of the following: - Standard Logo with "Initiatives of Change" written in full - Standard Logo with the slogan - (Optional) Abbreviated version - the curve with “IofC” - (Optional) A programme name written beside the Standard Logo - (Optional) A programme name written beside the Abbreviated version - File format: jpeg - Scalable vector graphic file in Adobe Illustrator format would be appreciated. - (Optional) short note describing the thought behind your design. - Please do not design various colour options (single colour, reverse colour) at this stage.
