We are looking for a Web Designer who will be responsible for creating great websites for our clients. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our clients' branding. You will be working closely with our web development team to ensure a proper and hassle-free implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Also proficient in WordPress & using a page builder (Elementor)
Duties
-Strategize and plan a compelling and effective design concept
-Meet with clients to assess and reassess their wants and needs for the project
-Supplying concepts and ideas to the clients to plan out the designing of their websites
-Managing the site appearance by suitably placing the links, action buttons, text, and images and determining appropriate backgrounds, color schemes, and other visual facets
-Working in collaboration with graphic professionals and copywriters to generate and modify the graphical and textual content of the websites
-Present design concepts & mockups
-Present website to the client in an effective way
-Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
-Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
-Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
-Create all necessary visual elements from wireframe to final designs according to client’s brief.
-Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.
-Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
-Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
-Creating sample sites; exhibiting and acquiring feedback on draft websites
-Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
-Design a site that directly reflects and represents the company or individual’s brand identity
-Optimize website speed
-You will contribute to a style guide that dictates the colors, fonts, and design patterns that are used in our web app.
-Work with SEO specialist on optimizing site content
-You will be involved in UI / UX meetings, and provide your expertise and initial mockup sketches.
Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field
-Strong and varied design portfolio
-Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS and PHP
-Copywriting skills a plus
-2+ years relevant design work experience
-A positive attitude, incredible creative ability and a relentless work ethic
-Ability to convey business’ message and vision into engaging visuals.
-Experience in running a discovery session with a client
-Experience in running a kick off session with a client
