Journey to IBM Cloud Certification with IBM Center for Cloud Training

We are documenting the experience of receiving an IBM Center Cloud Training Certification. Chosen freelancers must receive the IBM Professional certification with the options being Cloud Architect Professional, Cloud Developer Professional, Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Professional (paid for by us, through a milestone). Step 1: Freelancer will be paid in a milestone payment for the cost of this exam. If Freelancer is willing to complete a higher level certification for this project, please note this in your bid/proposal. Step 2: After freelancer completes certification journey, they need to create a written deliverable. This deliverable can be a blog, tutorial, a series of notes or a review of your experience receiving the professional certification; it’s up to you. Just make sure it’s well written, entertaining and useful. So be sure to document your journey along the way. Milestone Payments: Milestone 1: Amount depending on the certification you take Milestone 2: Amount depending on the certification you take, released after your written deliverable Additional Information: Cloud Architect Professional: Gain the skills and knowledge required to begin a career as an IBM Cloud Architect and prepare for the IBM Certified Solution Architect - Cloud v4 certification. In this curriculum, you will read and interact with 30 - 40 hours of course content and apply your learning by using practice exercises in a virtual lab environment. The exercises include (but are not limited to) the activities required for designing a secure, cloud-native microservices architecture. Cloud Developer Professional: Gain the knowledge of how professionals design and build secure IBM Cloud applications, services, and products in complex environments. In this curriculum, you will read and interact with 40 - 50 hours of course content and apply your learning by using practice exercises in a virtual lab environment. After completing this curriculum, you should be able to perform tasks in the Cloud Offerings, IBM Cloud, Implementation, and troubleshooting skill areas. Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Professional: Gain the skills to be a problem solver, making systems more reliable, applying modern Cloud design patterns to code, and creating lasting solutions for client requirements and service issues. In this curriculum, you will read and interact with 20 - 30 hours of course content and apply your learning by using practice exercises in a virtual lab environment. After completing this curriculum, you should be able to apply problem-solving skills to make systems more reliable, apply modern cloud design patterns to code, and create lasting solutions for client requirements and service issues.
