Build a UDP Package sender and listener.

Setup I will subscribe to a stream of live data sent to a static IP address/port using UDP. I must open and listen to this port to receive the data which is in JSON format. Objective I require a custom build software that can listen to the data (enter IP address and port), parse, manipulate and display the data in 0.5 second snapshorts. Each snapshot will contain 7 columns of data and the same number of lines (5-20lines - changes every 30 minutes) and is required to flash-replace the previous snapshot every 0.5 seconds. See sample text file attached. A start and stop button may also be required. UDP provides for no guarantee of packet delivery, packet order, and duplicate packets may be generated by the network. Applications consuming this feed should be tolerant to such errors. Requirement At present I have static data files (see [login to view URL]). I would like to build: 1. A sender module that will read a sample text file and send the data to an IP address for testing purposes. 2. A receiver module as described above.
