CONFIGURE AND HARDENING A CENTOS LINUX SERVER2

I have a centos 6.8 server up running as VirtualBox 5.1.6 client. The server has his own public ip. I need of: • General check and hardening: there is a host name problem with running of startx as sudo user. • Web site preparing. It is to set on one domain name to entry in two different sites. [login to view URL] site 1 [login to view URL] site 2 There is installed proftpd with ftppasswd file for user account. I tried with mysql accounting but I had problem with DB connection. I need help to set ftp access on web site folder and on a VBox shared folder with relative permission to file and folder. General check to eliminate errors or problems. The server will have to work perfectly 24/24 for production
