There is something missing on the procedure. You need to setup your virtual box connectivity, if you will be using NAT or Bridge. Once done, the procedure is ok to go. I would gladly help you in this task.

As I am Linux System Admin and my daily routing task to make Virtual servers up and running and assisting users to login in to their machines and should have access to their required websites. To check IPtables (Redhat 6 or below)and Firewalld (Redhat 7 and above) so that they can work interrupted and increase productivity. Network administration also comes in Linux job. I have seen your steps in images, and you trying to connect to internet by updating IP address, I know how to permanent fix your issue and dont need to follow instruction that you have in your sheet.
