Core Animation NPAPI drawing for Mac Google Chrome

I need the Core Animation NPAPI drawing model for plugins to be supported in Google Chrome for Mac. Google has a bug tracking the issue: [login to view URL] The project is to contribute a fix to the open source Chromium project to add support for Core Animation on Mac OS X. The project will be considered successful if the bug is marked as fixed. It would also be nice if you could avoid bugging the Chromium development team with too many questions while working on this.
