Hi we can go for Solrcloud with external zookeeper. what are the data types you want to index.? is it federated or homogeneous? Do you want to expose the search service using REST what is the platform that will be using solr what's the volume of data? what is the data growth rate what is the acceptable maximum latency? what is the frequency of delta index? How many instances of AWS you want to Have?
