Create Plant-based Transition Plans

Who Are we? MyVood Ltd is a black-owned business started by two young women passionate about making the world a more ethical place. We have first-hand experience of the challenges one can face when transitioning to a vegan and plant-based diet (social, emotional, physical and logistical) and endeavour to make this process a little more straight-forward and enjoyable for aspiring vegans. MyVood is intended to be a supportive platform that provides individuals interested in transitioning to a plant based diet with information on what constitutes a healthy, sustainable and ethical diet. Price: £50 per Transition Plan What are we looking for? We are looking to commission a nutritionist to create three, 3 week long, vegan transition plans. Inclusive of macro and micro nutrients and additional nutrition tips and advice. These plans need to be supported by up-to-date nutritional research. We will provide you with more information about the specific type of plans we are looking for if you are a successful candidate. Who are we Looking For? 1) We are looking for either a Vegan Nutritionist OR a nutritionist, who is vegan (If you are both Vegan and a Vegan Nutritionist, even better!). 2) Some understanding of the nutritional properties of ingredients typically used in Caribbean and Sub-saharan African cuisine would be desirable, but is not necessary. If you do not already have this knowledge, we would need you to demonstrate an interest in learning about the nutritional properties of popular Caribbean and Sub-saharan African dishes. 3) We are looking for an individual, who’s values align with ours; someone who cares about the environment and human and animal rights. 4) You need to have a strong understanding of diet related physical health illnesses (Such as diabetes, and heart disorders). 5) Knowledge of physical health disorders that disproportionately impact the black community is also highly desirable, but not necessary. Additional Information: 1) If you are a successful candidate, there is a possibility for long-term work with our company. 2) Interested candidates will need to be willing to meet with our founders, virtually (Via Google Hangout). This conversation will not be a formal interview, but rather an opportunity for our founders to decide whether you align with our organisations values.
