Production Management System

We have a small manufacturing operation with a number of products produced. We wish to identify and record all product despatched by product, customer, transporter, date produced, quality, place of manufacture. The ideal solution would be a web system built on Open source software (MySQL, PHP, Apache etc) Large amount of information is currently available from automated data collection systems, analytical laboratory equipment and can generally be delivered in flat file (txt or csv) or dbf format, and the ideal situation would be to maximise the amount of automated transfer without the need for re-entering data. Reporting would preferably be based on MSAccess Reports which can be configured and added to in-house, unless an alternative WYSIWYG type process can be proposed. System to include customer complaint and ISO 9002 corrective action system linked to specific loads, batches etc. All reports must be configurable for automated scheduled print and e-mail via Lotus Notes. Corrective action process to provide capacity to distribute complaints and action requests to responsible persons and to allow for entry of replies and redistribution. Capacity to integrate system into existing control systems (ABB Freelance, Siemens PCS7, Gensym G2, Avery) would be very useful.
