Paid on delivery
This is the first part of a $1500.00, multi-part series, building a web-based fantasy game. This fantasy game will take part over Email, and partly over the website that supports those mailings. The languages for the database have yet to be decided. It is essential that the database works well on a web-based server, be easily edited using front-ends, create HTML files, and cooperate well with macromedia flash. We are thinking MySql with either .asp or .php web pages. We may consider Access. By clicking on a link, this fantasy game will form and mail an HTML-based email. Users will click on this email to link to the web server. The initial database consists of 77 items, over 9 tables. The coder will not be responsible for these items; the number is to illustrate that a decent software front-end is needed to edit and add all information relevant to account, character, inventory and item information. Some of these items may be dependant on others; thus, an object-oriented approach may be more appropriate, depending on what language we collectively decide on. The end of this development should add 6 simple text, yet fully operational web pages, which will include forums, Account information, character information, About Us, Contact Us, and what’s new. The server-side application should include a simple front-end to edit all tables in the Account and Character Databases, without entering the tables themselves. Database will be edited through this software on a web server. Graphically, all items and web pages should be kept simple. These will all be updated in a later part by using macromedia flash. Later parts will add on to this web-site game, including going on quests and entering city areas. Please look at the associated files to get an idea of the overall picture. Thank you for bidding! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Front-end applications should be accessible through Windows XP. Web sites should be viewable by using any browser. HTML emails should be viewable by any browser/client.
