I'm investing in a new website to promote my professional, content marketing services. While I have an existing website, it is very dull and dreary and doesn't reflect my brand well.
The new website will be a stacked, responsive design - I've got a few examples of website designs and layouts that I like, along with templates that I would also like to use. The layout of the site will be quite basic with about 12 pages needed initially. This includes Homepage, Why Us, Services (with four sub-pages), Pricing, Connect, Blog, FAQs, Client Stories. (Photoshop files to be provided by designer.)
I'm familiar with using Wordpress CMS, however I'm not a developer so coding and the technical aspects are a bit beyond my capabilities. I'm looking for a web developer who can help me install the theme/template; install necessary widgets (for security, SEO, etc) customise the pages based on the designs; integrate Google+ (and Google authorship), Twitter, Instagram; social buttons, Integrate mail chimp and sign up form, register the site with search engines; and any other of the small technical components required to get a website up and running!
I already have the URL and hosting organised. I can also upload the final copy into Wordpress once the project is complete.
I'm looking for a web developer who understands best practice, shows initiative and can provide practical advice and recommendations on where improvements can be made. Ideally, I'm looking for a professional that I could continue to work with on an ongoing basis as my business grows and I require more development work.
