create a listings page option for wordpress pages

I need to be able to have the option to create pages that have neat listings pages in them, so that instead of listing pages from a drop down menu, the drop down menu title will take you through to a page with other pages listed inside it. Ideally the listings will contain a thumbnail image, and a page title that will link to that page.
