Client Needs & Goals JTL wants a re-branded and high impact customer portal to effectively reach new customers and provide an edge over the competition. They require a site that: Provides a modern web presence· Increases and converts visitors· Integrates with the business ERPs· Presents information and company products to users in a better and user friendly· manner Accessible to users in all major devices· JTL also requires a way that will allow them to easily manage content on the site. Proposed Solution The developer recommends the development of a new website built on Open source custom framework that integrates to Emerald ERP databases to perform various user functions. A professionally-designed theme will be fully customized to match the brand and meet the Client's functional needs. Emphasis will be placed on attracting new clients through easy-to-understand product specifications, a focus on features that make the company's products superior to the competition. This new platform will be future-proof to allow additional features to be added without compromising the existing system. Features 1. Template The new web template will have these features: Modern full width design· Fully responsive. Will adapt to various devices namely desktop, tablet and mobile· views. New look and feel· Parallax backgrounds and video backgrounds to enable promotions on site.· Call to action buttons· Beautiful fonts, form fields and menu bar· Better layout of business and residential products· Backend panel to manage content.· 2. Emerald ERP Integration Same as the current website, the developer will maintain the integration of the website to Emerald ERP to handle customer related functions. These functions include but not limited to: Customer login using Customer ID· & Password Customer Registration using Billing email and Customer ID· View· & edit profile Make online payments· View invoice, payment history, due payments, next billing date etc.· View current subscription plan· 3. ERPNext Integration The developer proposes to integrate the same website to the ERPNext platform to handle specific user functions. This will be an improvement from the current website. This connection will seek to take advantage of the internal modules provided by ERPNext platform that is used by JTL staff for business operations. The site will improve the current SIGN UP form by integrating the submitted data· to the ERPNext CRM module. This will enable JTL staff to manage new internet connection requests through the ERPNext back-end panel. With this improvement, the staff will be able to flag requests as leads, opportunity, closed, converted etc. all functions provided by ERPNext. Developer will also integrate the ticketing forms with ERPNext ticketing module to· handle trouble tickets from customers Contact us form will also be integrated to the ERPNext.· 4. Payment Gateway Integration The developer will still maintain the integration to Pesapal payment gateway as the main method of payment for users. All confirmed payments will automatically be effected on the User’s account.
