Database error on my Help Desk software

I have createad a new website ( [login to view URL] ) and then i moved all the content of the old website to a folder inside the public html. However, I still need to use the helpdesk system of my old website until i get my new helpdesk up & running, and now i can't do it due to an database error. When I try to acess the old website helpdesk trough this link: [login to view URL] I get the following message: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/[login to view URL]' (2) in /home/storage/7/98/9e/elunion/public_html/legacy/helpdesk/inc/[login to view URL] on line 70 Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/storage/7/98/9e/elunion/public_html/legacy/helpdesk/inc/[login to view URL] on line 71 And I would like to fix this, being able to acess my old helpdesk again until I finish my new one.
