Create a library, in C to pass HDPARM output 9.56. Parse HDPARM output to get disk capabilities: None, Secure Erase, Enhanced Secure Erase, Trim. Maybe all capabilities? Using only glibc library, no threading, no dynamic allocation. Tested library on a virtual/physical machine. Provide API documentation, and tricky part. Library is for use in existing security wipe software & chosen dev. will be credited as such for contribution. NDA & IP Upgrades will be applied once candidate selected. Estimated 1 or 2 days full time work. Also required: Specific commands to launch erase etc. To cover: IDE, SATA, EIDE, USB, M2 Etc
