We are an organization running a successful annual charity Bikeathon. The website is built using PHP, JS, and MySQL database. There are a number of new features to be implemented and bugs to be fixed as well as refactoring out legacy code. We are looking for an experienced PHP developer to take on this project. Expected workload 100-150 hours or more plus there is a possibility to extend the contract for further enhancements. The project is led by a technical solution architect and there will be status calls three times a week. Milestones for success determination are well formed and progress tracked transparently. Developers should be familiar with HTML, PHP, CSS, JS, Bootstrap, and Git and have at least 3-5 years experience as a developer. Ideal candidates should also have experience with MySQL, Apache, Docker, and JIRA. Communication skills in English is critical. The project will have a kick-off end of October and begin full-force in the beginning of November. All candidates will be subject to a technical interview before acceptance.
