Hi - Javascript can't read from the file system directly (unless you are running it via something like node.js). Any javascript rendered by the browser is sandboxed and can't touch the local FS. Proposed Milestones $333 USD - Completion As I mentioned before - what you're asking can't be accomplished in Javascript alone. What you need to do is to run some kind of web-service that will allow you to upload the data you need, then you can use that same web-service (e.g. Apache, or whatever) to serve you a HTML interface that will allow you to select the data you've previously uploaded. In other words, you need more than just a quick modification to the Javascript in some HTML page to achieve what you want.
