Sample task (which you will be paid for): We need to create a browser-based cookie that tracks 5 URLs and stores them in hidden fields on chats, phone calls (CallTrackingMetrics), and web forms (Gravity Forms) - and then passes these values into a CRM (Salesforce). Summary: We are in an exciting growth phase where we have integrated multiple applications and continue to evolve our infrastructure. We need a Senior (architect level) Web Developer to help develop new solutions as well as maintain our existing infrastructure consisting of multiple websites, servers, and applications. As the Sr Web Developer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, maintaining, and documenting software applications while working under limited supervision. Daily activities include website development, 3rd party integrations, maintaining content management systems and system administration. Strong understanding of technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, Linux, WordPress, and SQL will be needed. Essential duties and responsibilities: • Responsible for coding, testing, maintaining, and documenting software applications while working under limited supervision. • Reporting to the Project Manager, you will need to work closely with technical resources, business representatives and vendors to realize business goals. • Daily activities include website development, 3rd party integrations, maintaining content management systems and system administration. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. • 5 years’ experience as a web/software developer • 2 years’ experience administrating LAMP systems • 2 years’ experience with the Wordpress CMS • Expert knowledge of front-end website development including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Knowledge in responsive design layouts and standards • Strong knowledge of back-end development and database creation/implementation via SQL • Advanced understanding of UX design principles • Experience integrating with XML and JSON API's • Experience using source control solutions (Subversion, Git, etc.) • Experience contributing within a team environment Qualifications (Preferred/Desired): • Experience with AWS • Familiarity with an RDBMS • Experience with MVC frameworks • Familiarity with javascript libraries like Angular.js and Node.js • Experience with SalesForce Communication Skills: • Excellent verbal communication skills • Excellent written English (grammar and spelling) communication skills Personal Skills: • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to learn and contribute quickly to project requirements • Able to prioritize tasks and multi-task as needed • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organization skills • Self-starter with an eagerness and passion to learn new skillsets and improve existing • Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a “helping others helps us all” personality.
