PHP/Symfony 4-Task Schedule solution to Repost Ad to top of listing page Consider the Web App a Classified Advertising site, users create account and Post Ads to a listing page for a specific City/Category. Two core front end functions require back end task scheduling of events: Repost Ad Bump Ad Repost Ad-Allow user to ‘Repost’ the Ad to the top of the Listing every day’ at specific hour of the Day for the amount of days available in a drop down. Bump Ad-Allow user to ‘Bump the Ad to the top of the listing’ at time of execution for selected hours. There are some additional extensions to each Repost and Bump Ad such and have added to the complexity. Users may select ‘Other Cities’ option, the Ad will generate another URL for the Ad be Listed on these Other Specified City Listing pages which potentially have different timezones. Another upgrade a user can select is a ‘Sponsor Ad’. This has the same Posted Start Date/Time but it's own Expiry Expiry Date/Time - user can select listing time for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks, where as the Normal runs only for 15 days. This Sponsor Ad contains same Ad content but displayed in a highlighted bar with small thumbnails. This Sponsor Ad is also able to be Reposted and Bumped independently of the Normal Ad, it is also subject to being Listed on Other Cities . Requirements: Develop an inside Symfony (not external system level cron) task scheduling solution which is required to manipulate the SQL db for each Ad with persistent storage so that a machine reboot does not affect anything. I’ve tried external system cron and systemd timers, these failed to provide granular per Ad post level control of scheduling and not able to do anything more than global scheduling of more than one job.
