I have a Print Finishing/Bookbinding company with 9 Years of scanned quotes. We would like you to review the quotes and create an excel Spreadsheet so we can quote our clients in the future using a automated calculated formula which you have worked out from using our data. Attached are some examples of "Saddle Stitching" Quotes. You can see there is a process of Trimming by guillotine, Scoring, Collating, Laminating Etc. which is how the price is worked out. From 9 years worth of data, there should be some pattern you can follow to create the spreadsheet which will quote for us automatically. I have 9 years worth of data, so I will have to send you all the files - attached in this brief is just a small amount to give you an idea. The quoting system must work on all qtys There are 8 different Quote types we do in Bookbinding. I would like to start with 1 Type First - Saddle stitching Quotes

Hi there. I've been working with a print house from USA for more than 2 years now and I prepare them Excel Price Calculators (exactly what you need) But believe me, it is much more complicated. Relevant Skills and Experience Excel, VBA, Data Processing. Im not sure if you can use patterns to quote properly. So, you better build a quote calculator with the parameters (type, sheet size, thickness, color etc.) Proposed Milestones $2500 AUD - job done My bid is for building the full calculator. Not for your job (which I think not the way to go) I know what print houses need. There are lots of parameters to be taken into account while quoting. So, pure pattern approach wouldnt help a lot.
