I have a table that receives multiple entry's for checkin/checkout purposes with a quantity. I am looking to have a statement written that will SUM the checkin of an order and subtract it by the sum of the same order that has a checkout. order_num, sum(orderinout) from location where orderinout=checkin - order_num, sum(orderinout) from location where orderinout=checkout Total is = I need to have the statement tell me what the remaining amount is, either 0 quantity or a remaining quantity.
