Computer Vision Project for Detecting and Timing Vehicles

Street is a computer vision company with a new project focused on detecting cars and analyzing data. We have a brilliant team of engineers and are looking for a good addition to the team. This project is the start of a potentially larger position in the company. PROJECT DESCRIPTION We are using 360° cameras to get a wide view of an area and need software developed to create a vehicle detector and timer. The software needs to pull a remote camera feed and process the video on the cloud. To complete this project you will need to: - Use YOLO(v3) to detect vehicles and draw boxes around them - Create a cloud processing instance so that the processing is done online and can be used to process multiple feeds at once - Detect cars on a live video feed from an IP camera - Output basic metrics about number of vehicles and length of detection REQUIREMENTS - Familiar with YOLO - Cloud processing experience - Skilled programmer familiar with Python and C - Understanding of mathematical processes eg. polynomial fit, logical operations, basic data science - Understanding of IP cameras and API communication - Project references showing experience with similar projects
