PHP, PHP5, APC, XDebug, PHPUnit, Command Line PHP. • Various PHP Frameworks : *MediaWiki & Drupal (*DKAN) Database • MySQL, PostgreSQL The following list of web applications and database applications currently in use could be modified as needs change: DKAN (an application used for sharing/serving out data) MediaWiki (an application used for the Wiki) MySQL (a database used for the Wiki) PostgreSQL (a database used for DKAN and the data archive) The client foresees the need for support for applications in areas such as (but not limited to): Proactive Support Research and recommendations regarding applications and hardware/VM specifications Installation and configuration of application packages on hardware/VM Configuring applications to comply with security best practices Patching of applications on an ongoing basis Incorporating applications and associated data into a comprehensive backup plan Any additional proactive management and maintenance tasks Development Support Add/Modify application templates (DKAN, MediaWiki) to include basic elements Add/Modify application extensions Create/Modify webpages related to applications Provide assistance in research and development of new applications and tools, and help implement these new tools Implement LDAP “single sign on” services for web applications and database applications Create/Modify documentation Reactive Support Modifying application configurations as needed or as requested Troubleshooting and remediating problems as they arise Maintain LDAP “single sign on” services for web applications and database applications Restoring application data as needed 2. SERVICES Describe work to be performed: Subcontractor shall provide the professional services to perform the role of PNP Developer in support of the Linux Application environment. The developer should be well versed and capable of administrating Linux OS, Apache2, MySQL and PostgresSQL. They should have a good understanding of PHP and with optional Python experience. Key responsibilities shall include: • Day-to-day management activities of the programming and other work required • Coordinating technical activities of the work assigned with the SLG Project Manager • Resolves the functional and technical issues of the work assigned • Provide quality deliverables
