Web App Development in Python / Flask

One liner: MovePenny allows users to sponsor each-other for every mile they run/cycle. Description: MovePenny allows users to log in with Strava (a fitness app, with an open api) and invite family and friends to sponsor every mile they run while using the app. If I sponsor you $1 per mile, and you run 10 miles this month, I'll donate $10 to your chosen charity. Key Functionality Account set up - Users should be able to sign up and log in using email and pw - Users should be able to connect their MovePenny account to Strava (using the Strava API, docs here: [login to view URL]) - Users should be able to select the charity they wish to raise on behalf of. App Features - Users should be able to find and sponsor other athletes. - Users should be able to view their own sponsorship stats (e.g amount raised, number of sponsors etc.) as well as those of other athletes. - Users can be both sponsors and "athletes" (those raising the money). e.g I can sponsor your runs, but you can also sponsor your friends'. Sponsorships & Payments - Users should be able to add a credit/debit card for sponsorship payments. These payments are taken monthly and the amount may vary, depending on how much their sponsored athletes have exercised. - Users should be able to set a maximum sponsorship amount per athlete, per month. - Users should be able to remove a sponsorship, which will come into effect immediately (they will still be charged for sponsorship of athlete exercises within the month up to the date of cancellation) - MovePenny receives a percentage of the sponsorship payment as a transaction fee. What's Required of You: - Develop main functionality of the app, including Strava integration but not payments integration required. - Design app architecture using Flask, creating a postgres / sql db that can be queried for analysis. - You do not need to develop any frontend code (HTML/CSS), you'll be working with a frontend Eng to plug in your app backend into the existing designs / templates. - Work autonomously, with a daily check in of 30mins (on top of a project kick off call)
