Design a search function inside an existing application in developing phase

Biobank software is a software specially created to manage the collection, processing and storage of human biological samples from consenting donors (for example: DNA, RNA, blood, plasma, serum, urine, faeces, tissues, cell lines, tissue blocks, as well as xenografts and organoids derived from cancer patients). The platform consists of a software that manages storage in Freezers, racks, boxes of various structures and sizes, for use by the laboratory. The software is under renovation with a view to microservices, multi tenancy, full cloud. It can also be installed on-premise or on the Cloud on the various supported operating systems (linux, Windows, MacOS). The software is in microservices Web architecture, from an architectural point of view these are the key components: • frontend implemented in Javascript through React, Redux frameworks • backend implemented in .Net core, with nhibernate • pluggable database, reference implementation on mysql
