Design studio, specializing in exhibit design for small museums. Need excellent AutoCad or similar skills, Adobe Suite expertise and sketch up or other rendering capability for various types of projects. Create floorpans, elevations, perspective sketches and details working from floor plans and/or design sketches. Develop exhibit design for different venues which may include graphics, cases, furniture to entire custom museum exhibits. Freelance opportunities are on-going and sporadic. Prefer local to Silver Spring, MD. Tasks may include exhibit design, case layouts, furniture, graphic systems, graphic design and artifact placement. Ability to convert design plans into sketchup renderings and 2d / 3d plans are critical. For this project need to create floor plans and elevations from architect drwgs in PDF format, and On-Site Measurements provided by client. 3 Small areas roughly 23 x 23' Museum, 22 x 17' Entry (with kitchen & toilet) and 23 x 23 2nd floor workroom. Need floor plan, elevation of each wall (toilet and kitchen do not require elevations) and ceiling plan to show beam positions. See Folder with drwgs and pics. Need within 5 days. May be able to provide architectural drwgs in digital format.
