I need someone to write code to consume on-demand information from a call initiated by an Alexa Skill. This information may be stored in either a dynamoDB database or an external mySql database and may be called via Lambda or an external program. I'm open to programming language. For example, I ask Alexa for current events to an external source which returns today's events and a sentence describing them. I have programmed the information to be returned. I just need the Alexa device to "say" them. Example: Program calls external data from [login to view URL] Program receives data in json or xml format and then reports the data to the user. The successful freelancer should already know how to code Alexa skills. This is on a tight time frame.
