C# Engineering - Application Conversions

Job Description We are looking for a C# developer to help client transition the management of a bundle of C# applications. Must be able to support us as we establish Configuration and Change Management cycles for these applications - the work will include analysis of code and code infrastructure, creating documentation including technical specifications as well as reviewing, updating and establishing back end services and tools as needed. We will also be evaluating the effort to convert these applications from C# to...? This entire effort will be done with applications that are already in production and you will be working as part of a team so meticulous attention to detail, a passion for quality work, and collaborative communication skills are essential. You must be available for a few meetings during office hours in Pacific Time Zone. Responsibilities Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Produce Documentation to satisfy Configuration and Change Management Requirements Skills Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems Familiarity with the .NET framework Familiarity with the Selenium framework Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Skill for writing reusable C# libraries Experience working in Visual Studio Familiar with various design and architectural patterns Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Knack for writing clean, readable C# code Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR) Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Proficient understanding of code versioning tools including such as GIT, SVN, Mercurial Familiarity with continuous integration
