Our company uses a custom p2p network as a content delivery network that requires a peer to have an open port. This is no problem in our dedicated network infrastructure but is challenging when in a public environment where I can not do manual port forwarding or the router does not support UPNP. For this environment I need to do another means of NAT traversal and I think it is Hole Punching. The network uses TCP to communicatie. What I need is someone setting up this Hole Punching / NAT traversal structure. I think I need a 2nd server for this to work. Preferably the code is in Java so I can integrate it into our p2p network.

I would include a Java library that can easily be used by existing Java applications to initiate a connection between two peers and a Java-based server that would provide the required rendezvous point.
