The object of the project is the design of the external case of a benchtop instrument for organic cell cultures in biological labs. ([login to view URL]) Project steps: 1. AESTHETICAL PART (best if concluded in less than a week, with many interactions with us) Deliverable: few options of aesthetical design, considering current trends (we provide images of similar instruments), and considering the fabrication technology of choice 2. TECHNICAL PART: Both the technical drawing, and the selection of a company that will produce at least the first 5 cases at a reasonable price (price compatible with expectations previously shared with us). The 5 cases should be of industrial level, not prototypes. RELEVANT DETAILS: The case only serves as an external crevice and as user interface. Expectations on instruments produced: - first month: 5 - first year: 30 - second year: 100 Try to minimize immediate cost (e.g. investments in molds). Preferred fabrication techniques (to our best knowledge): - a mix between thermoforming and sheet metals. - a mix between plastic molding and sheet metals. - but we are ready to evaluate alternatives (eg 3D printing, or CNC engraving).
