i made before earth on very high res, it's about 45K resolution and i can do your one like it but on a video and same your sample.

That video is actually a gif. Is gif the format you want for a one-minute video? I would suggest other formats for such a long duration, but can do gif if you want. I've done hundreds of megabytes of gif maps, particularly for the US 1940 census at censusgenie.com. Those were based on shapefile data, but I know GPS data and I can work in 3D ray-tracing no problem (I'm a math phd who had a large specialization in geometry). With additional info, I can be much more detailed as to how I would approach the project.

Hi, I am GIS Analyst and used to work with 3D database from LIDAR, or time stamped data such as flight navigation file. According to the description you did, 3D visualization can be done in ESRI or Google environment by using FME software... As per your suggestion I will send you some screenshot and animations...
