558506 Project Shield: Micro-website

Here is a brief description, that together with the sketch should provide full background: - Parents will need to register their kids. Once they register them, they will receive a 4 digital number that will be used by their kids in conjunction with their first name. We know this represents weak security but we want to privilege easy usage to security as this is going to be used by kids which are 6-10 years old, and there is nothing sensitive there. Just in case, please have a table tracking the IP accessing the site so that we can monitor abuses. Any other ideas are welcome. - Kids will be able to access with just their first name and 4 digital code, ideally entered through a clickable scroll of digits like the sketch. Tell me what best solution for this. - Parents will be able to enter with their password to change their information, or their kids information. - Parents will be able to view their kids calendar but not edit them or view the slideshows the kids view (unless they enter as kids). - Kids needs to fill a 10 days calendar. They can check-in once per day, not necessarily consecutive days. They check in by clicking 10 times on the cell of the day. Each time they click, one slide will scroll (like slideshow) with count down from 10 to 0. Inside the slideshow there will be funny stories or educational one (on hand wash) that will display in sequence. There will be a different story (and hence images) for each of the 10 cells, representing 10 days. - If parent keep the check on registration, we will send to parents email in 4 occasions: on registration, when one of their kids didn't check-in for 7 days and that he still didn't complete his first calendar (will not do it on the second calendar) when one of their kids reach 5 check-ins, and when one of the kids finishes all the 10. - We are also considering sending SMS the same way as email below. This is not a confirmed part of the project for the moment, as we don't have the feasibility confirmation and protocols for sending emails. We will add to the project in few days if we have confirmation/feasibility. - Application will be on a micro-website. - Language will be both Arabic and English. We will need to retain on the database the language used by the user, so that we use it for the communication with the person. - Language default should be set depending on the country. So we need a GeoIP with countries list for Arabic as default, while the other will be English.
