Prestashop: Display total savings in cart summary

Hi there, I need to display the total savings in the cart summary, i.e. the difference ($price_without_reduction - $price_wt) x $[login to view URL] summed for all products in cart. This one total value must be updated with js/ajax. Prestashop version is 1.5.6.2. I have found one possible solution online ([login to view URL]) but could not reproduce. So I need some help here. If you think you can help with a quick solution (either putting this one to work or whatever you think is better), please send me a quote!
