IT Technican/Support - work from home

I am looking for a full time work from home IT tech. You must be willing to work as and when required. the normal work week will be 40 hours per week but there may be times when extra hours are required (for which you will be paid) You will be working from home and connecting to remote systems in the field so you must have a very good Internet connection and a good reliable PC. You should have deep knowledge of Windows operating systems - both desktop and server. You will be responsible for providing first line support to beginner and intermediate technicians in the field who will be going on site to setup networks/servers/workstations/routers/fw's. A Remote Monitoring and Management software package has been purchased and it will be YOU who will be driving this software from our servers in the data center - you will need to be able to quickly become an expert user on this RMM pacakge and provide input on deployment ideas/solutions to customer sites in the field. The hourly rate is between $10 and $20 per hour depending on skill levels and seniority. I am looking for an all round bright guy who knows most things IT and is willing to work with a dispersed team of teleworkers to help co-ordinate our local IT efforts in the field. We envisage 40 hours per week but can be flexible with either more or less for the right person. This is a permanent full time position that is expected to be ongoing for years to come. I already have specialized teleworkers in the cloud who contract to us on projects that come up from time to time, but the time has now come for a full time person to be working on our IT setup full time. We envisage starting with one person now and adding another in a few months time. If you have management potential there is scope for having a teleworker team under you at your command as time goes on. We have the work and clients already on-board so this is not some pie in the sky scheme that we hope we can get going - its already a happening thing and we need quality staff on the IT support desk.
