Hi-- I would absolutely love the opportunity to work on this project! I've done several ghostwrites, and all of my clients were incredibly happy with the level of my work. Having left a verbally abusive husband after a long and drawn out battle, I keenly understand how important exposing the truth of domestic violence, any form of such violence is. It's difficult as a woman to speak up. You feel that your voice isn't important enough or loud enough for anyone to hear. You think about your children, the families involved, what will happen to them, what will they say...In cases of this nature, everyone's feelings and opinions seem to be more consequential than your own, and so you endure it and remain silent. I would like to help write a work that encourages sufferers of domestic abuse to speak at last. I hold a PhD in English. My specialty was women's studies. In graduate school I lobbied with my mentor for the establishment of a women's crisis center on campus; we presented papers across the eastern seaboard and petitioned local government for support. This is certainly a subject which is near and dear to my heart. As far as my writing itself...I've published several articles in academic journals. I've presented at numerous conferences and have completed a couple of book length studies as well. I know you will not be disappointed in the quality of my work.
