Develop a Firefox extension in c/c++ that will allow you to save a link to the filesystem. Currently, Firefox only supports sending links via email or saving webpages. We instead want the ability to save a link to the webpage to the filesystem and not a webpage. Requirements are for fully documented c/c++ source code. You will create a document that describes the code and you will heavily comment your code. The requirement is for the application to run on the Windows version of Firefox 1.5. It does not need to be able to run on linux or Mac, but we may offer an additional incentive if you add this as well. By agreeing to do this project you will not own the code in any way and will not be authorized to share this extension or provide it to the Mozilla Foundation for inclusion in their Firefox Extensions site. Functionaly, the extension should add menus to the Bookmarks menu to save the link to the current page. Additionally, the extension should add menus to the context menu to save the link of a url that the mouse is over, or to again save the link to the current page. You will also need to provide a button that can be added to the toolbar to do all of this functionality, so there is 3 ways to get at it. To be accepted you will need to respond with your price and a firm deadline for the code. Working demonstration will be required before signoff. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform 1.5+ versions of Mozilla Firefox on Windows platform
