Coding for Website (core design CSS provided)

Global Training Group is a provider of training programs in the commodities industry, publicising events using a wordpress site that I built myself. See [[login to view URL]][1] I have recruited a designer to redesign our logo, brochures and to produce a CSS for a new website. These designs will be available [login to view URL] new project is to code and build a new CMS powered site using new designs. ## Deliverables The site is designed to showcase upcoming training and video training content, which will be categorised by industry class, and we are calling these **"information categories"** which will be defined by me in the CMS. Training content can be training meetings (seminars or conferences). Video contents is videos hosted on brightcove ([[login to view URL]][2]). When a user enters the homepage, the following is available to him: Top Navigation: - Events: Mouseover showing information categories (see above) in which upcoming events are placed - Videos: Mouseover showing information categories in which videos are placed - Consulting (static page controlled by CMS, where we can enter text to be displayed) - About us (static page controlled by CMS, where we can enter text to be displayed) - Terms and conditions (static page controlled by CMS, where we can enter text to be displayed) Events: From the CMS I need to be able to specify the names, dates, locations, and short descriptions of the events, the information categories to which they belong(a single category, a selection of categories, or all categories) and a PDF to be uploaded. I also, from the CMS, want to be able to post HTML for individual related videos (also designated to belong to categories) to appear on an individual event page. Also please note that if I make an event a "featured" event, then it will in the featured section of the homepage. (See above). When a user clicks on top navigation for an event for a particular information category, then he will be directed to a page showing all information for the event, a thumbnail picture of the event and, if applicable a related video. Videos: From the CMS I need to be able to specify the names, dates, locations, and short descriptions of the videos, the information categories (a single category, a selection of categories, or all categories) to which they belong, and the html for the invidividual video (hosted on Brightcove) to be uploaded. Also please not that if I make an event a "featured" video, then it will appear in the featured section of the homepage. (See above).When a user clicks on top navigation for a video in a particular information category, then he will be directed to a page showing all the video if applicable a link to a related event. The description of events and videos clearly shows there has to be a facility individual videos to be associated with with individual events. In addition, we need a single dedicated (summary) video page, displaying an aggregate video player to show all videos. As mentioned, I use [[login to view URL]][3] to host and manage my videos. I need the ability to paste HTML code generated by brightcove for the aggregate video player on the dedicated (summary) video page. Event registration From event pages, I need users to be able to register for the event, by supplying their contact details, promo code, etc. This is a simple form submission to us and no shopping cart is required at this stage, although developers will be asked to keep the addition of a shopping cart in mind for a further phase of the project later. I want to capture contact information from users wishing to be kept informed about new events. Social media links must be included in the site throughout.
