TMA 02 consists of three questions, which you are expected to answer from your studies of Block 1, Block 2 and the associated materials only. Credit will not be given for information or examples taken from other sources. When you rely on an opinion or argument presented in the W100 materials, you should indicate this with an in-text reference. The word limit for TMA 02 is a maximum of 2000 words. All the words you use to answer the question, including quotations and citations, count. How to present and write your TMA You should answer each question separately, providing the question number before each answer. You are expected to write your assignments in your own words. This includes all the questions in this assignment. Your answers should be written in standard English prose with full sentences and paragraphs. They should not include bullet points or any sort of list. You should not write in the first or second person (for example 'I', 'we', 'my', 'our', 'you' or 'your'), instead you should use phrases such as 'A person is …' or 'This answer will …'. You should provide a bibliography and a word count at the end of your assignment. The bibliography is not included in the word count. Appendix 5 of the 'Introduction to W100' booklet provides guidance on constructing a bibliography. Section 8 of the 'Introduction to W100' booklet provides guidance on writing to a word limit.
