Super Planet Darkness - Game Demo

Our indie game company is looking to hire an experienced developer to create a prototype/demo of our game. It is a 2D, tactical RPG designed for mobile platforms (initially, at least). Similar to Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. Features include a grid-based, top-down 2D playing field, actors moving + attacking, various abilities, cutscenes + dialogue, a level selection screen, main menu, etc. The game is almost completely designed and fleshed out, we have many of the art assets, mechanics, features, designs, etc, we just need someone to actually write the code. We have a decent amount the framework for unit movement and level design already in place, although we can talk about starting from scratch if you so prefer. If you can do some VFX as well that is a plus. Screenshake, slo-mo, shock wave, adding in pre-made animations, etc The demo will likely not contain more than 2 hours of total gameplay. If the job is done well and the game can be fully funded we may also re-hire you to help complete the game later on. Must sign a couple forms including an NDA and a non-compete agreement. We are mostly based in California, with some of us in South Bay and some closer to Los Angeles and Orange County.
