Basically what I am looking to do is create a section in my content management system (CMS) to handle Scheduling for Fire & EMS departments, Or really for anything.
I am looking to make a system as good as www.emsmanager.net. They have alot of features such as forums, member's area, etc that I don't need in our CMS. I already have that. If you could have your programming team create a DEMO account and check it out that would be great. I started the project but can't see to find time to really get in there and finish it. I would want them to start from scratch and make it a stand-alone system using MYSQL & Coldfusion. I would them make the modifications to join it with our system.
Another Scheduling system that is out there is http://codescheduling.net. I am the main competitor for them in the Messaging area.
wpoppe is an administrator for the Delaware City & DC Duty Crew areas.
Their system integrates with their Code Messaging to send notifications to administrators for various things that occur. It also sends out notifications when some "calls out" and other events.
Our "Chief Messaging" is the main competitor to their "Code Messaging"; however, they have one up on us with the "Code Scheduling". Our system will be called "Chief Scheduling". I have to have a system that is better than theirs but would like to have something that really goes above & beyond like EMSManager.net.
You will see that "Code Scheduling" is a little more basic and is hard to navigate. I attached a user manual for their system.
