I need an editor for over 300+ page manuscript for a book on marketing to a specific professional group in the USA. Your quote for this initial project will only be for 20 to 25 pages. Understanding of marketing not required but it would be very helpful. It would also help if you have some experience with the American reader and a very strong grasp of English. Please explain what experience and understanding you have about recent American self-help literature. If none, then please just say so as this will not necessarily exclude you and I will send the successful applicant 10 sample pages. First task: Assess 25 pages of unedited material from this draft and based upon the objectives that I give you, make comments and suggestions to me in Microsoft Word within 7 days. Then I will respond back to you for a second revision needed within 7 days. A 3rd revision maybe required although it would likely have far fewer comments/requests. See Advanced Section for additional details. ## Deliverables Care must be taken not to alter the meaning of what I am trying to do as it is primarily an account of my own efforts in marketing my business over the past 15 years. It also uses supportive analogies from other businesses. Your task is mainly to a) shorten any run-on sentences while maintaining my intention and meaning; b) find ideas that are very similar or even duplicates of what has already been said and bring them together under individual headings and subheadings; c) help each section to flow well as one readable section; d) comment on the style and make suggestions that could enhance that specific section and the book overall; e) make suggestions for eye catching headings and subheadings for each topic. All changes need to be done in an edit format where I can see what is crossed out and highlight what is added. Please confirm in your bid that you are familiar to this and can use this format.
