Qt widget for a simple openGL rendering window(in C++)

Qt has a new class for openGL rendering in version 5.3, 5.4 We are in a need of a Qwidget that uses the new support from Qt and some basic rendering capabilities on the openGL side. The task is: 1) create a QWidget in our simple C++ shell program, that allows for openGL rendering 2) take a number of polygons as an input and render a "potato" like object. The "potato is described by a dozen or so polygons that outline the contour in each of a set of 2D slices 3) render the potato as a wire frame model 4) render it with surface options and lighting options. Not making toy story level animations here, but do want several options that are easy get by virtue of openGL 5) GUI functions to a) pick up and rotate the object, b) start automatic rotations, c) zoom in/out, d) resize the window That is the core functionality. In addition: 6) provide support for multiple classes of objects in the same scene. There will be little spheres inside the potato, for example. We want to give them a different color, different surface options, and be able to turn them on/off in the rendering. Includes an on/off check box in the GUI for each added class.
