Hi there, I love working in Salesforce; infact I attended Dreamforce the last two years (super fun, lots of education, best money ever spent! I have not done any of the certifications which is why I'm so cheap. Once I do the certifications (just take the test) I will not work for less than $50.00 an hour. So you should take me up on my hourly rate and reap the benefits of me not taking my tests :) Some background: I converted a company which was running on quickbooks and excel to salesforce and the admin tasks have completely disappeared. They are able to retain their customers, they can see a lifecycle of an order from the time a quote is created, to when the PO is approved, to the vendor PO that is created to purchase the product, that status of where that order is with the vender, to the shipping and the final stage of payment. In quickbooks they could never tie it all together see the lifecycle of an order. I have another client who was working just on excel and needed a way to calculate orders received via online (selling RAW milk) to where they needed to be delivered (including picking up empty glass bottles and tracking that). Salesforce does that work for them. One of their pain points was arriving at their destinations and not having enough milk or too much milk at the end of the day.
