Seeking coders + EE passionate about SLAM & ROS, minimum 6-months project with travel to Thailand

I am a Carnegie Mellon University EE/CompSci graduate with a background in robotics and commercial software development. I will be personally managing your work. I am mainly interested in proposals from individuals or buddies who are each super passionate about the topic of robot geolocation, and willing to travel together to start the project. The duration of this engagement is expected to be at least 6 months. Compensation depends on experience. If I assemble this team in India the individual compensation will range from 25,000 rupees to 65,000 rupees per month. If Thailand, the compensation range will be 18,000 bhat to 35,000 bhat per month. For proposals from China, Eastern Europe, Africa, or SE Asia your monthly salary expectation must be competitive, ranging from USD $600 to $1,200 max depending on your actual experience and academic credentials. Any proposal outside these ranges can be submitted, but consideration will be given preferentially to proposals within my budget. STUDENTS : I very much welcome application from students or graduate students willing to take an immediate summer plus 6-month industry internship for academic credit, if that is an option at your institution. FRESHERS: Overall, I favor a team of highly intelligent programmers and electrical engineers, VERY early in their career, including fresh graduates. This is what we are doing: I am assembling a small tiger team of 3-6 individuals, preferably in Thailand, India, or China (but I will consider applicants from any country in the world if your English language skills are strong), The team will focus exclusively on a fusion of SLAM, "dead reckoning", and beacon-based triangulation applications for very precise real-time geolocation of mobile robots and robotic end effectors. My main R&D lab for this is in Thailand, so occasional travel to Thailand may be required (at my expense). The tracking systems to be developed are for indoor mobile robots, outdoor robots, under-water robots, and aerial drones. Each environment has different technical constraints of course. The objective is to create a unified spatial self-awareness system with an open API for robot application developers. You must have demonstrable skill coding complex algorithms such as computer vision with OpenCV. Strong Linux skills are also an advantage.
