This is a technical research job. We are making a series of graphs that describe how data travels from certain self-tracking apps and devices into web services, and how it can be accessed via APIs. These are simple flow diagrams, and the research involves looking at web sites and technical documentation. An example of one of these graphs is attached to this project description.
Requirements
*The graphs are created in Omnigraffle. You must be a competent user of Omnigraffle and own your own copy of the software.
*The graphs only make sense if you understand common API practices. Familiarity with data flows and APIs is essential.
*We are graphic consumer tools that allow people to view their own data in some form. Some domain experience in this area (devices include Fitbit, Nike+, Jawbone UP, Misfit Shine, Garmin, Polar) is necessary.
Details
We will provide a sample graph and a legend of symbols. Your job will be to:
1. Edit the look of our graphs in Omnigraffle for consistency in font size and font choice, size of boxes, etc. so that they all look neat and follow the template.
2. Create 3 new graphs for tools we select.
3. Further work depends on success with this first round.
Timing
This is a 24 hour job, to begin Saturday 3/20 at 9 pm Pacific Daylight Time and end Sunday 3/21 at 9 p.m. PDT.
Payment
We are expecting to pay reasonably and to use a highly competent and experienced freelancer. Please tell us what you typically use Omnigraffle for, and let us know any domain expertise you have. Our goal is to find a great freelancer and test out whether we can contract for of this work. If so, it can be the beginning of a good working relationship.
Process
Once we select you, we will follow up Saturday evening (PDT) with the final legend and some more sample graphs, and with the three additional ecosystems to map.
Hello, After going through your job posting, based on my experience and expertise I feel confident that I am the best candidate for this job. In past I have done similar projects for other clients too. But I won't be using omnigraffle. I can do this job on Photoshop and give you better results.
I understand your requirement….
Awaiting your positive response
Kind Regard,
