My book is a collection of 150 original limericks which I would like to publish in true 'Edward Lear'-ian style by including a simple illustration alongside each poem. My own attempts at illustration are passable, but they ultimately lack the polished appeal that modern readers have to come to expect in our visual culture. I have plenty of notes covering ideas for what I would like the pictures to be for each limerick, but I would certainly allow for the expression of artistic license as well as professional input from the illustrator who steps up to the challenge.
