Description
We have an automated testing infrastructure and a set of automation test suites which is all run on EC2 build slaves.
Some of our automation tests are done through a browser which ensure full container integration and this runs successfully and consistently on our local dev machines. We need to move this suite out so that it can run on the EC2 build slaves when ever we make a change so that we can have independent feedback for our changes
Deliverables
- Updated slave setup shell script which installs a specific version of Firefox
- Slave with a successfully installed Firefox instance
- Successful Jenkins build with FitNesse report which proves selenium integration with EC2 Firefox
Basic slave is setup and ready to have browser support installed. Test suite is re-runnable so you can test changes from jenkins directly.
I have experience in setting up jenkins on AWS EC2 instance. I have integrated the selenium test with jenkins+git +firefox + headless ubuntu.
Though the configuration was not master slave but I would like to try doing the required set up.
Let me know if you are fine with it.
Thanks and Regards,
Ritu
