HTML text markup Javascript

We need javascript code to markup text in HTML file. Step 1 : user selects text from HTML file displayed in a webview control - this text is stored in a file Step 2 : when HTML file is displayed later, the javascript code will markup the same text again ## Deliverables e.g. The attached HTML file is generated by MS Word and contains many tags. The HTML file is displayed in a webview control. (this will be done in iPad app and also in a Android tablet app). Step 1 : the HTML text is displayed. The user must be able to select text for markup. (e.g. is this file, the user selects "Refer to MEL 23-12 [Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT)] The ELT is required for MNPS operations.) You have to store this information in a separate file, e.g. [login to view URL] or .ini or .log... The software will run on iPad and on Android. Everything is stored and running on local machine. The markup files must also be stored on local machine, e.g. in a folder like application path \ markup \
