I have a Dell T7600 Precision desktop that came with Windows 7. I would like to replace Windows 7 with Bio-Linux ( Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS base): [login to view URL] I created ISO image of the OS in a DVD and tried installing upon boot after changing BIOS setting to CD/DVD as the first device to boot from. However, after the initial typical Ubuntu screen, I got the message "BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart". Windows would not restart after this. I have two Raid 0 disks (3TB each) and two virtual disks (2TB each).

Hi, How did you burn the DVD with the ISO on it? Boot disks can only be created with good DVD authoring tools such as Nero, where you can actually choose the option" create Bootable disk/DVD/CD" or something similar. if you simply copy the ISO file on to a blank DVD and burn it, it won't work. let me know if I can help Dinesh

1. Can You format USB flash 4-8Gb to NTFS and Active, on any machine? 2. Can You write content from Windows Install to Flash? 3. Can You boot from USB from bios? If Yes. then You can start machine from external flash and repair system from USB.
